How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always been interested in the arts. Graphic design allowed me to create in many different ways and not constrain me to only one type of creative aspect in the field. It is my choosing to focus on logo design, branding, and advertising. These allow me to utilize my creativity to its full potential.
I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in graphic design from the Art Institutes. I am also a self-taught artist. The About page of my web site shows a sample of my illustrative skills. I am able to incorporate my own artistic skills and photography into any design.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I don't differentiate myself necessarily in the services that I offer. I do differentiate myself in the uniqueness of my designs and my artistic abilities. My main focus with my logo designs is to ensure a company gets an identity that is memorable. The Bananafox logo is a sample of how I am able to create a unique identity.
I am also able to incorporate my own artistic skills into my designs. Not every graphic designer is an illustrator. In fact, many graphic designers lack this ability. Coupled with my ability to create unique logos, my artwork puts me above many of my competitors.
