How long have you been in business?
I have been in business for over 10 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Print and Web design. I custom design print pieces: logos, brochures, business cards, newsletter, direct mail, etc. I also design websites for businesses. I custom design the graphics and design and build the website using professional web based software. All Adobe products are used.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
While working for Waste Management in the early 1980's personal computers came into the office place. I was given a Mac computer and a manual and asked to design a newsletter and logo for our branch of the company. I did the newsletter for several years. I loved designing on the computer and even though using the difficult drawing tools was a challenge - I prided myself on coming up with some good computer drawings.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am an artist by nature meaning that I have the gift of being able to draw and illustrate. When called upon I can sketch my ideas on the drawing board and then redraw them on the computer. Not all designers have this ability. I received A's on my illustrations in college and my work was often featured by my teachers on the public areas of the art department. I have also worked with the highest levels of corporate presidents and vice presidents and have a vast knowledge of project management that I have put to good use in my own business. I am often complimented on by my clients as being organized and on-time with my projects.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have 1 location at this time. I would like to expand and have other artists and designers I can call upon for any large projects that come my way.

My business is located in Bloomingdale, Illinois. Since we all are able to take advantage of the web - I have clients in many areas of the country so unless you live nearby I don't necessarily have to meet with you face to face. I do have Skype so if face to face is necessary we can do that. What type of payments do you accept?
I accept checks, cash and credit cards through PayPal.
Which areas do you service?
I can service any area in the country or even internationally. I have had business that I have done in Canada. With access to the web my business can go anywhere.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I own my company and run daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Mon. - Fri. 9 am to 5 pm
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That they like/love the designs that I do for them. I really love my work and it is my passion. Working on a design is never a chore or a burden - it is a joy to be able to design.
